Conclusion:
The results of this study show the potential usefulness of sequential monitoring of hemodynamic status using NICaS in patients with pheochromocytoma during the perioperative period. Despite some limitations, NICaS-derived CO seems to be applicable to the prediction of preoperative ideal CBV and even diagnosis of pheochromocytoma without using conventional phentolamine test, because it is easy to use and noninvasive, and provides reproducible results.
